As a speaker of the HKICPA’s 2nd Cohort of the GBA CPA Talent Class - Driving Excellence in Valuation and Sustainability

Our Managing Partner, Mr. Vincent Pang, and Director, Ms. Sabrina Lam, had the honor of being invited as speakers by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) to participate in 2nd Cohort of the GBA CPA Talent Class respectively.

Mr. Pang delivered an insightful presentation focusing on the requirements and issues of valuation in relation to M&A transactions, accompanied by tasks upon completion of the transaction such as purchase price allocation and subsequent impairment assessment for the goodwill and intangible assets recognized in the transaction.

Ms. Lam’s presentation focused on the HKEX climate-related disclosure enhancement, including ESG reporting. Ms. Lam also shared valid examples to ensure her insights with fellow professionals were inspirational and enriching, such as navigating the key challenges for listed companies.
