AVISTA celebrated the grand opening of new offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai earlier this week. We are beyond grateful for our recent relocation of two offices to new and larger premises–and more to come–which blossomed under our expanding presence in Hong Kong and the PRC. Begun with an appreciation recap and mid-year outlook delivered by our Managing Director, Mr. Vincent Pang, in his opening remarks, the event culminated with the long-term service awards presentation. Staff at all locations, including Beijing and Shenzhen, went online to celebrate. Stepping into our 12th anniversary, the relocation marks a significant milestone and a new era of our growing business. AVISTA Hong Kong and Shanghai New Offices Grand Opening

The latest wave of COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai has profoundly upturned its citizens‘ lives in many ways. While Shanghai has been battling it with full strength, amid the ongoing lockdown, AVISTA Group joined by contacting suppliers to make urgent delivery of sanitized care packages with fresh produce and daily essentials to our staff households. Our main concern is in ensuring the safety of our employees and their families. Keen on extending our care and support to the staff, the care packages are a token of appreciation for their commitment and dedication, particularly over the lockdown period. AVISTA Group Delivers Care Packages to Staff in Shanghai

As Hong Kong continues to move through the fifth wave of COVID-19, we are doing our utmost to ensure the safety and productivity of our staff. Whether they are remote or returning to the workplace – safeguarding their health and well-being remains a priority of AVISTA. Care packages including free rapid antigen at-home test kits, vitamin C supplements and antibacterial wet wipes have been distributed to all staff of Hong Kong Office to show our appreciation and support for them during this challenging time. A thorough professional sanitization has also been carried out earlier to prevent the spread of virus, providing a hygienic and safe work environment for our staff. Together, we will prevail. AVISTA Christmas Party 2021

AVISTA believes that employees are valuable assets of the company. We are glad to see many of our employees are self-motivated in their professional development and are eager to support them along. Last week, our Managing Director and some senior analysts of ours were invited by our PRC Offices to form a training taskforce to facilitate intensive coaching on in-house practices, case sharing and remote leadership for the 20-plus recent hires in Beijing and Shanghai offices. The workshop was coordinated to jump start our new hires by familiarizing them with their key duties and workflows and giving pointers to the potential technical issues they might face. AVISTA embraces perpetual growth and constant improvement.
