AVISTA’s Managing Partner Was Invited as The Guest Speaker by SHJU-BOC Institute of Technology and Finance and Discussed “Start-ups Valuation” with Its MBA Students

Our Managing Partner, Mr. Vincent Pang was pleased to be invited by Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU)-BOC Institute of Technology & Finance Student Union to deliver an MBA seminar on the topic of “Start-ups Valuation”, on 1 April 2023 in Shanghai. The seminar was a resounding success, garnering a full house registration.

Through the lens of venture capital, the seminar explored the latest venture capital trend and provided a deep dive into various valuation approaches for start-ups in different stages, illustrated with case studies. Meanwhile, given the heightened focus on ESG among investors, its considerations and impacts on start-ups valuation have also been discussed to share the most up-to-date industry insights and practices, promoting a deeper understanding of the complex world of start-ups valuation and venture capital.
