World Ocean Day 2023

World Ocean Day is an annual event with the purpose of raising awareness about the importance of the ocean and the urgent need to protect it. In 2023, the focus is on the global commitment known as the 30x30 Actions, which aims to protect 30% of the ocean by 2030. The 30x30 Actions have been endorsed by world leaders and involve the establishment of marine protected areas and the promotion of sustainable ocean management practices worldwide.
