AVISTA’s First-Ever Carbon-Neutral Annual Dinner

We are kicking off the new year with AVISTA’s annual dinner- so let’s make it an unforgettable one!

The dinner was a blast, with our people unwinding and re-energizing over delicacies and exciting games with attractive prizes.

Behind all the fun lies a meaningful purpose: we are thrilled to announce that this year, we have organized AVISTA’s first-ever carbon-neutral annual dinner by offsetting our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, via a United Nations (UN)-certified wind energy project in India.

About the carbon offset project

Apart from fighting climate change with clean energy, this wind farm project will create jobs for the locals, boosting the economy as well as advancing infrastructure and technology in the region. In line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, it’s an initiative that will benefit both our planet and society.
