Scope:
We are seeking fresh graduates to join our expanding ESG advisory team in our Hong Kong office. As an ESG consultant, you will gain valuable experience working with a wide range of listed and private clients across diverse industries, including property development and management, technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), financial services, healthcare, retail, education, environmental protection, logistics, hospitality, and more.
Our ESG advisory services include:
- Supporting listed and private companies on a wide range of sustainability and climate-related advisory projects, such as ESG disclosure and report assurance, sustainability risk assessments, climate scenario analysis, carbon trajectory projection and target setting, sustainability strategy and roadmap development, ESG governance, ESG data analytics, and green finance initiatives
- Providing expert advice to companies and stakeholders on ESG-related matters and best practices
What you will be doing?
ESG Consultants will work collaboratively as a team with our partners, managers, and other senior consultants. You are expected to:
- Conduct value chain reviews: Analyze clients' business value chains to identify key value drivers and areas of concern, addressing risks including ESG and climate risks.
- Support project delivery: Perform benchmarking analysis, stakeholder engagement, site investigations, megatrend analysis, and data analytics to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Establish ESG reporting frameworks: Work closely with clients to set up data collection processes and internal policies for ESG reporting, and assist in developing governance structures, strategies, and KPIs.
- Facilitate IPO ESG disclosure: Collaborate with sponsors, legal advisers, auditors, and industry experts to support ESG disclosure requirements in IPO projects.
- Prepare client deliverables: Produce draft ESG reports, sustainability consultancy reports, and presentation materials for client engagements.
- Contribute to business development: Assist in the development of new ESG services and identification of new business opportunities.
- Promote sustainability initiatives: Drive the advancement of sustainability in the industry and broader community through participation in ESG awards, events, and campaigns.
- Support team operations: Perform ad hoc tasks and assignments as required by the team.
Who are we looking for?
- Degree holder in sustainability/ environmental management/ environmental engineering / climate change/ energy / finance / translation / language studies or other relevant disciplines
- Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Good team player with the ability to work independently
- Excellent research and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility
- Ability to articulate ideas into infographics and presentation materials will be a plus
- Short business trip to PRC may be required
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience key areas, such as in carbon and/or sustainability reporting preferred
